The seventh Belador story begins with a battle, and the many beloved characters in this series are either troubled by emotional complications or find themselves in a dangerous situation on every compelling page. Dianna Love totally captures my full attention with vivid descriptions and constant originality, and the paranormal world to which I am transported comes across as particularly believable. With the large number of characters in the series that I have come to really like, I immediately became involved in the latest personal story being told. Since Tzader Burke may finally get to have the future he has long desired or will lose everything important to him, I was eager to find out what he would have to face, and Dianna Love did not disappoint me. Every emotional conflict in ROGUE BELADOR captivates with deeply affecting realism.Her position as the Belador queen means Brina is a very significant individual, and she has been under special protection for years. But an enemy’s attack has caused her mind to deteriorate and soon no personal facts will be remembered, causing the man in love with her much worry. Though some only care because of her heritage, Tzader Burke wishes for Brina to be his mate and is willing to do whatever is necessary to make it happen. As time passes with no improvement, he makes a deal that might bring back her memories, but it could come at a great cost to him.

When it comes to urban fantasy stories, Dianna Love is a master. What takes place in the Belador series is frequently innovative, and the circumstances in the seventh book are sometimes perilous and always emotional. The traits assigned to each of the characters are certainly unique, and I was delighted by how many of the individuals I have come to love that were featured. I really want Casper to have a big part in an upcoming book, as someone with ghost traits fascinates me.
Evalle and her mate Storm plus Quinn all play major parts in ROGUE BELADOR, and it was great catching up with the events in their lives. But the major focus is on Tzader and what will happen to Brina. I have watched these two suffer throughout much of the series, and my heart ached for them each time another difficulty kept them apart. Their story is about not giving up hope, and it was heartwarming to also see the importance of friendship. One new character is definitely intriguing, while several of those who have been met before and only have evil objectives are once again up to their ruthless tricks. I never knew what would be the end result of more than one power struggle, as some abilities came as a surprise. Ms. Love has also created a new interesting creature, and I hope to see more of Oskar in a forthcoming book. ROGUE BELADOR has riveting action, profound emotions and unforeseen twists.

Rogue Belador by Dianna Love
The 7th book in this fantasy paranormal series is complex, twisting and engrossing. Evalle, Tzader, Brina and Tristan are key in the ongoing war. Feenix, Storm, Lanna, and many others are essential to each step in the gripping adventure of life and death in the urban fantasy.
The author includes some back story but reading the entire series from the start is recommended.
I like the recurring characters and the complexity of the storyline. While I'm not a fan of the evil or "mean" people, but they are intrinsically part of the whole. There are unanswered plots still pending like who is Sen, the battle for Treoir Island and the "ownership" of the gryphons. Plus the death of Ragan was tragic. Is that really the end for her?
Bottom line a great adventure. Not a cliff hanger, but there is still enough pending that makes it an enthralling series.
Ever have one of those authors that you can't wait to read a book as soon as you hear about it, well before it's even available??? Dianna Love is definitely one of those authors for me. And this book is definitely on the top of my list of favorite books from the Belador series.
You would think that Evalle and Storm can finally start finding the peace and happiness they deserve as mates after so much drama and strife. Even Tzader and Brinna deserve their own happiness after before forced apart. However, Rogue Belador proves it's not quite time, but possibly getting closer. The journey the Belador team embarks on this time is truly amazing, the story telling absolutely superb, and when the end of the story came, I didn't want it to end. I'm looking forward to hopefully more of the Belador story, and hoping that happily ever after, instead of happily for now, finally comes to those that deserve it.
Please note that I did receive an Advance Reader Copy of this story, but I also purchased it on for my , because I love the story and journey that much, and I didn't want to mess up the beautiful paperback.
Why did I let this stay on my TBR pile for so long? After reading too many poor quality PR and UF books lately, I finally got around to reading Rogue Belador. I love the character delevopment in this series, and this installment was no exception. Each of the main characters are struggling with their own personal, emotional journey and Dianna Love makes us really feel for these characters.
Even the more minor characters had their story fleshed out for us. I loved Oskar, and his interaction with Feenix. I hope to see more of Tzader and Brina and see how they have changed in the next book. Evalle has certainly changed since the first book in this series Blood Trinity Number 1 in series (The Beladors) and I am enjoying watching her journey.
There was a big build up to the final battle, but it didn't seem rushed and while some issues were tied up nicely, there is still plenty to look forward to in the next book.
I really need to make sure that I read the next one as soon as it comes out.
